About the Role

As an Operations Lead, you will be responsible for designing, coordinating, and improving the daily operations of Charlie's Factory. This role oversees the movement of products, information, and customer experiences across our roastery, B2B business, online channels, and coffee bar.

You will work closely with the founders to create systems, solve problems, and ensure that every part of the business operates efficiently and consistently.

Key Responsibilities

Roastery Operations

• Design and manage workflows for coffee production and fulfillment

• Plan inventory, purchasing, and stock movement

• Ensure production processes are executed according to established standards

• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement improvements

• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment

B2B Customer Success

• Support cafés and wholesale customers throughout their journey with Charlie's Factory

• Coordinate orders, deliveries, and customer communications

• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and service quality

• Build strong relationships with business partners

E-Commerce Operations

• Manage day-to-day online store operations

• Monitor fulfillment performance and customer experience

• Coordinate promotions, launches, and operational execution

• Track key performance metrics and recommend improvements

Coffee Bar Operations

• Oversee daily operations of our coffee bar

• Maintain service quality, cleanliness, and consistency

• Support team scheduling and operational planning

• Create a welcoming experience for customers

Who We're Looking For

Requirements

• Experience in the coffee industry is a plus, but not required

• Strong interest in coffee, hospitality, food & beverage, or lifestyle brands

• Highly organized and detail-oriented

• Comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously

• Able to identify problems and take initiative to solve them

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
