We're looking for someone who can turn ideas into systems and help us build a company that runs smoothly as it grows.
As an Operations Lead, you will be responsible for designing, coordinating, and improving the daily operations of Charlie's Factory. This role oversees the movement of products, information, and customer experiences across our roastery, B2B business, online channels, and coffee bar.
You will work closely with the founders to create systems, solve problems, and ensure that every part of the business operates efficiently and consistently.
Design and manage workflows for coffee production and fulfillment
Plan inventory, purchasing, and stock movement
Ensure production processes are executed according to established standards
Identify operational bottlenecks and implement improvements
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment
Support cafés and wholesale customers throughout their journey with Charlie's Factory
Coordinate orders, deliveries, and customer communications
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and service quality
Build strong relationships with business partners
Manage day-to-day online store operations
Monitor fulfillment performance and customer experience
Coordinate promotions, launches, and operational execution
Track key performance metrics and recommend improvements
Oversee daily operations of our coffee bar
Maintain service quality, cleanliness, and consistency
Support team scheduling and operational planning
Create a welcoming experience for customers
Experience in the coffee industry is a plus, but not required
Strong interest in coffee, hospitality, food & beverage, or lifestyle brands
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously
Able to identify problems and take initiative to solve them
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
You genuinely care about people and can see situations from their perspective
You take pride in maintaining clean and organized environments
You are dependable and follow through on commitments
You continuously look for ways to improve systems and processes
Operations run smoothly without constant supervision
Customers receive a consistently excellent experience
Team members know what to do and have clear processes to follow
Problems are identified and solved before they become bigger issues
